Caring for your wooden pen.

Since your wood pen and wooden gift is made from real timber, it needs care as any fine wood turned product requires. By following the instructions, you will ensure years of beauty and enjoyment of this handcrafted wood turned pen.


We have polish and applied a coat of natural bees wax. We recommend that you reapply some sort of timber wax as the finish wears from normal use. Use a soft cloth to apply wax. Never use any cleaning or finishing product that contains abrasives or other harsh cleaner.
Floor care and furniture care products are appropriate for use on our wood finishes. Here our own mix:
50 % pure bees wax and 20 % olive oil mixed with 30 % turps and a drop of lavender oil makes a good paste wax and is easy to apply and buffs to a high gloss shine.
